Looking to build your own X3 chassis? Metalwerx has the answer. We got rid of the weak single shear mounts and thin walled tubing and designed the strongest chassis base available for your machine. All bulkheads are constructed from 10 gauge steel with overlays on all bolt locations to make the lightest and strongest suspension mounts possible while all tubing is 1.75" DOM .120" wall for additional strength and rigidity. We then MIG weld everything together in a jig to ensure proper fitment and geometry. The massive 4" boatside gives the perfect amount of extra clearance whether youre building an Ultra4 machine, trail chassis, or rock bouncer. Our chassis lower includes mounts for a arms, trailing arms, steering rack, front differential, front shocks, carrier bearing, and engine/trans. As the rear shock mounts are mounted in the upper part of the chassis, we provide you with mesaurements to locate them properly as you finish out the construction. We can provide you with pickup points for use in CAD/Bendtech as well. UHMW skid plates are available for this chassis through Factory UTV. Custom wheelbase, 4130 , and single seat lower options are available upon request, please call for more info. All chassis lowers have to be shipped freight or picked up at our location in Wheeling, WV. Freight charges will be invoiced seperately once fabrication has been completed.
X3 Chassis Lower
Assembled chassis are a large item and require freight shipping which is not cheap nor reliable. I STRONGLY, and I cannot emphasize that word enough... STRONGLY recommend picking up your chassis in person. All chassis and chassis kits are subject to an additional fee on top of the shipping rate decided upon by the carrier. Flat packed kits are an additional $300 and all fully welded kits/chassis are an additional $600. This additional fee will be invoiced along with the shipping fee at the time of the shipment. Please understand that it takes time and materials to properly secure these items for shipment. Please also understand that the crating of these items will add an additional week to your lead time plus the time it takes for the carrier to pick up and ship which is almost never immediate. Please call the office with any questions at 304-215-1941.
These are built on an "as needed" basis and I do not keep these in stock. Lead times are dependent on my current workload and cannot be calculated. For each lower, start to finish, it takes roughly two weeks for the entire process. Every project will be completed in order with no exceptions. For example, if I have 4 orders ahead of you, your lead time would be roughly 10 weeks. For any questions, please call the shop at 304-215-1941 and I can help you to the best of my ability.
